A Shout out to Sister Anna Dani and the Open Cafe Community. This is long overdue and I look forward to the advancement of the dreams and aspirations of the Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Dubois, Padmore, Blyden and the wider communities of African people at home and abroad.

Today is Fox Hill Day in the Bahamas. This is a belated celebration of emancipation as opposed to the traditional date of August 1st.Legend has it that because of the isolated nature of the free Afrikan village of Fox Hill, the news of the emancipation of slaves arrived late. I commend you on this most significant of days in the African diaspora and look forwards when the African people at home and abroad are empowered by technology so essential for our future development as a nation and people.
I leave with the seven traditional greetings of Kwanza: Imoja (Unity at home and abroad) Ujima (Cooperative economics and Black Star enterprise) Ujaama (Collective effort and cooperation: each one is a brother or sister to the other) Nia (a sense of purpose: creation of a united African Nation and people at home and abroad)Kumba (Creativity: utilizing limited resources to attain sustainable maximum gains) Kugichagulia (struggle and sacrifice: doing what it takes to attain our Nia) and Imani (Faith in our lord and Creator)
One Jah! One Aim! One Destiny!
Free the Land!
A Luta Continua!
